چکیده
Mesoscale eddies play an important role in ocean energy and material transport. However, the effect of on bacterial eukaryotic community their ecological effects remains unclear, regarding anticyclonic (ACE). In this study, composition was examined across ACE South China Sea, using high-throughput sequencing 16S rRNA 18S gene. Environmental variables reflected hydrographic characteristics ACE, which enhanced diversity most water layers, relative to adjacent regions. Principal component analysis (PCoA) showed that communities had certain different compositions between inside outside eddy above 75 m water. An obvious increase abundance depth distribution small photosynthetic heterotrophic bacteria, such as SAR11, Prochlorococcus , Rhodospirillales Oceanospirillales. While decreased nutrient-rich phytoplankton (Bacillariophyta Mamiellophyceae), resulted more growth space for other eukaryotes prefer oligotrophic environment (especially Fungi, Dictyochophyceae, Synurophyceae). Canonical correlation (CCA) temperature, salinity, nitrate, phosphate nitrite significantly affected microbial community. The special temperature) shaped its specific microbe. This study shed light ACEs environmental conditions impact marine ecosystem structure.

Observed and simulated submesoscale vertical pump of an anticyclonic eddy in the South China Sea
Oceanic mesoscale eddies with typical sizes of 30-200 km contain more than half of the kinetic energy of the ocean. With an average lifespan of several months, they are major contributors to the transport of heat, nutrients, plankton, dissolved oxygen and carbon in the ocean. Mesoscale eddies have been observed and studied over the past 50 years, nonetheless our understanding of the details of ...
متن کاملSignificant changes in pelagic fish stocks of Clupeonella spp. in the south Caspian Sea
The present study was carried out during 2006-2007 along the southern Caspian Sea. The species composition showed that the common kilka, Clupeonella cultriventris caspia, is dominant species with 89% and then anchovy, C. engrauliformis, has shown only 8.7% while it was already dominant species in the past decades. The overall results indicated that common kilka was replaced with anchovy kilka ...

متن کاملPhylogenetic diversity of bacterial communities in South China Sea mesoscale cyclonic eddy perturbations.
Eddy pumping drives a set of biogeochemical processes by lifting deep waters into the euphotic zone. To address the potential effect of such physical processes upon the bacterial community, phylogenetic diversity was determined in two cold-core cyclonic eddies in the South China Sea. 16S rDNA terminal restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis of the microbial communities through the who...
